DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD Out Today & An Announcement

Well, today’s the day. My new novel is officially out. It’s about a very wealthy man looking back on his life and telling you what he went through. It’s available on Amazon here.

Additionally, for those of you that are fans of my work: I recently put out an audiobook version of my first ever novel, Absolute Anhedonia. You can check that out here. I know that most people in 2025 do not really read books, and the few that do enjoy audiobooks instead. So I finally decided to try it out. Maybe this will create a whole new avenue for people to enjoy the book that haven’t yet. If things go well with it and there is enough demand, maybe I will put together an audiobook version for my other books as well.

For those of you who like to read the “old fashioned” way, check out DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD today. I had a lot of fun writing it, and there were times I honestly really didn’t due to the dark places it goes sometimes. I hope you enjoy it, and a big thanks to those of you who have been supporting me over the years and will also give this one a shot. It means a lot to me. To be an artist these days — especially a writer — is not a cool thing. A lot of people think it’s glamorous and you will sell 90 million copies of whatever it is you do and you get to have a cool author photo of you looking really spiffy with a typewriter and smoking a cigarette or whatever. The truth is it’s just me here, I don’t even have a photographer to do an author photo. In fact, even the photo Amazon uses for my author name, “Larry Singleton,” is a completely different guy. It’s a different Larry Singleton living in a completely different area who uses the same name as me, so I don’t even get the dignity of people getting to see the real me. I’m not complaining, I’m just telling you the reality of the situation and I also think it’s kinda funny: I put all this work in for my writing projects and at the end of the day people see a totally different image. (BTW, I’ve also notified Amazon about this numerous times and they don’t give a shit. That’s life I guess).

Anyway, I’m just one guy putting this stuff out and I appreciate your support and readership. It’s not a whole lot of you, but it’s still cool.
